After a little scare yesterday when Robert Meachem left practice early with a knee injury, he is already back in pads today and practicing. He bruised his knee last night during the night practice at Qualcomm. All systems go.

Today, some of the vets took the day off from a physical practice. Takeo Spikes, Antonio Gates and Nick Hardwick all took a day to rest. Bront Bird, Dante Rosario, David Molk and Colin Baxter got extra work with the first team.

Antoine Cason and Marcus Gilchrist both had to sit out practice, so Shareece Wright and undrafted free agent Greg Gatson got a lot of reps in the secondary.
