Check out the listing of arrests around the NFL in just the last few days: Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch gets arrested with a DUI. Cowboys WR Dez Bryant arrested for pushing his mother. Vikings RB Adrian Peterson arrested for resisting arrest? Broncos LB Elvis Dumervil arrested for road rage.

Football season is at the doorstep and the  players are trying to get their last bits of partying on before the football grind begins. The Patriots have already asked Rob Gronkowski to simmer down from his Summer. It is about that time for everyone else to start toning it down as well.

It wasn’t that long ago that we had a players in the news for these reasons. Antonio Cromartie is breaking bottles over fans heads with Tim Tebow. Vincent Jackson has a designated driver in Eric Wright. Shaun Phillips is still around, but all his partying friends are on another roster. Legedu Naanee is asking the cops in Miami if they know who he is.

Now, the Chargers players are driving around in Antonio Garay‘s  Hello Kitty car and Ryan Mathews is playing World of Warcraft. It has been quiet off of the field and we need to keep it that way.

    This off season just keeps getting better and better, I cant remember the last time we did not have a single player getting into trouble before training camp

    Hey Mathews is playing World of Warcraft – thats pretty badass too :) hope the cops won´t find out he´s doing that, otherwise we´ll see him on that list above Lol – I agree we need to keep it quiet off the field.

    2 things I need to said. First I applaud Ryan Mathews for being upfront about WOW. It makes every RPG player a little cooler to the jocks. Secondly I think the “Hello Kitty Car” makes Antonio Garray that much more of a King Honey Badger.
    I love this new low key team. I would be careful how I worded statements towards the players of my Favorite NFL team .

    These players are human and allowed mistakes just like me!!! Why not a story or article on the Rivers of Hope Fondation or numerous Charities by Charger Players!!!

        @epadaon Don’t take it the wrong way. I know that the arrests are news too . Just would like to see more articles in positive things such as the charities and community work they do that’s all I’m saying .
