It is now confirmed that Chris Berman will call the San Diego Chargers and Oakland Raiders Monday Night Football game to start the season:

Now that should be interesting. Berman recently called this year’s US Open and he received some lukewarm reviews. He will be teaming up with Trent Dilfer in the booth to call Monday Night.

What do you guys think about Berman in the booth? I am pretty sure that I will be playing Josh Lewin on the radio while I watch the game!

that wasnt to bad. the stage crew was messing up big time. ive been in his shoes during a photo shoot and it gets distracting

Boomer the only person that always gives the Chargers love year in and year out. He has always had our back for the most part. everyone else at espn and nfl has lost faith in us . Boomer keeps the faith alive

@BoJackRusso Dilfer was a underated QB. Fresno State was putting together some very smart QB’s through Sweeneys years. Dilfer was made fun of but he got Baltimore to the SB and won. He left and they haven’t repeated the feat. He has a sense of humour so him and Berman will be a blast. berman has always liked SD so he’ll be great on Chargers games.

@ Jen Yep!@ Mike Really? I didn’t know Trent was a Bulldog. That alone raises his stock a bit in my book… He’s alright, I just don’t like how he talks like he knows the game better than anyone who ever played. I don’t really hate him all that much, LOL! I’ll say this, Coach Madden and Randy Cross are my least favorite announcers of all time.
