Former Charger Lights Bed On Fire w/ Blunt Then Jumps Out of 3rd Floor Apartment

I can’t make this stuff up!!!!

Former San Diego Chargers S Kevin Ellison jumped out of his 3rd floor apartment building after he set his bed on fire with a marijuana blunt (The Spokesman-Review). He told the authorities that God had told him to set his bed on fire, but I have a feeling that it was the weed that was talking to him!

Drugs are BAD… mmkay!

Ellison played for the Chargers in 2009 and started 9 games as a rookie. In that off-season, he was arrested for drug possession after being caught by police with 100 pills of Vicodin. He was released soon after that. Ellison has been playing arena football with the Spokane Shock.

Ernie; As this happened in my back yard I’d like to comment. My son took my grandson to the Spokane Shock game a few weeks ago. After each game the atheletes all come out and sign autographs for everyone. My grandson got Ellison’s autograph, and my son being a Charger fan talked with Ellison for quite a while. He said Ellison was the most personnable of them and when he said he was sorry the Boltz let him go Ellison stated he was just happy to be able to play football again. It seemed really out of characture and my son was really surprised by the excuses he gave. I for one would like to see all Chargers fans pray for this guy. These guys all dream of becoming pros, large dreams. So when they don’t make the cut and then another pro team cuts them again it can really hurt the ego. I mean hard, I don’t know if he was depressed by his future or what but I hope he gets his life on track. He sure seems like a stand-up guy but we never know them really. But if Smith saw to it to draft him to be a Charger I hope he finds what God put him on earth to do.

@Chargertom So your experience with pot is good, who’s to say no one sliped him a Mickie. I don’t know why Ellison smokes but he could be trying to excape something. Who’s to say, and with the crap their selling over the counter these days it could be any number of things. I know a person that was prescribed Ambien. Mixed with the prescriptions they were already taking had them hallusinating for quite some time. Doctors prescribe multible meds without knowing much about some of their interactions so who’s to say what happened in this case.
