Chargers Sign S Corey Lynch and P Robert Malone

Chargers added a couple of more players on the roster with the signing of S Corey Lynch and P Robert Malone. They also announced that they signed OT Phil Trautwein. All these guys are likely just going to be camp bodies, BUT they could steal a job if they impress during camp.

Lynch was drafted in 2008 in the 6th round by the Cincinnati Bengals and has since played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Rich Bisaccia worked with him in Tampa and will likely give him a chance with the special teams.

Malone was probably signed to give Mike Scifres a break here and there during camp. If he impresses, he will be on another roster at the start of the season.

@Bleu Competition is great for finding a diamond in the rough. We ought to be looking for a OT and G to compete for the O-line. it’s not like we have the pro bowl Oline now. I think that’s one place they could use a few undrafted free agents more to try and show better than our starting or backups.
