Top 10 Chargers of 2011: Honorable Mentions

We have been pushing out our Bolt Beat list of top 10 Chargers of 2011 and here is who we have named on the list so far:

10. Takeo Spikes
9.  Malcom Floyd
8.  Antwan Barnes
7.  Jared Gaither
6.  Mike Tolbert
5.  Vincent Jackson
4.  Antonio Gates

The TOP 3 on our list should be released in the next couple of days. Here are a few guys that didn’t make the list, but were considered by the team:

Vincent Brown
The rookie had to step into the starting lineup a few times with Malcom Floyd hitting the sidelines so often. He climbed up the depth chart with Patrick Crayton and other being ineffective and provided some nice highlights for us to remember. He could make an even bigger impact this season and we look forward to seeing him progress.

Nick Hardwick
Nick is a STUD on that front line. He should always be in the running for one of the best players on the team and sometimes his contributions get overlooked. Just life as an offensive lineman! We look forward to another awesome season from Nick.

Kris Dielman
So sad to see the guy retire, but he made a decision for his family and for his future and we can only respect that. I wish he was able to finish the season, because he was having an awesome year before he went down. Wish the best for him in the future!

Very difficult to even see his picture. Miss him already.  He is what I would love EVERY Charger to be….a true warrior.  His “farewell” press conference had tears in the eyes of both me and my wife.  U da man Dirty Diel!

  • Bolts_NFL_music

Cool list, can´t wait to know where do you put Mathews, Rivers and Weddle on that list.
Well Nick Hardwick, I think he deserves to be in that list too.
And for sure Kris Dielman, he is a loss – it´s always sad to lose a 4-time Pro-Bowler and 2-time All-Pro.

    • BoogaP

Shh, Rivers is #3. It might have been posted already. Shh, lol.
When u gonna do another song bro? Love em!

      • Bolts_NFL_music

         @BoogaP Ahh Rivers is #3 that´s a bit surprising. My guess was a #2.
Thanx, cool you´re asking – my next song will appear on my youtube channel maybe in the next 2-3 days. This time it´s a bountygate-spygate dis song – so Greg Williams and Belichick will be dissed :) The next one probably will be a AFC West thing again, little Manning,Broncos dis thing :)

@Bolts_NFL_music He was 2nd on some of our lists.  I’m sure he will be #1 next year since he got three years of INTs out of the way!

  • BoogaP

Unless someone else is gonna do it. Should I do a Dielman tribute article for tomorrow? Just a thought…

      Would definitely be interesting

I completely forgot about Dielman. Shoulda put him on my list. I guess he can be #11.
