Which Former Chargers Made You Want To Vomit When You Saw Them In Their New Jerseys?

Somehow, a post of 3 sentences has gotten the conversations flowing. I bet I could never make that happen again, but I will give it a quick shot immediately. Which former Chargers made you want to vomit the most when you saw them in their new jerseys?

    JJ- Greenbay, Jr- Mia, Rodney- Splats, the one that really hurt was Parella going to the Raiders!

  • SanDiegoChargers760

    Junior seau sporles

  • SanDiegoChargers760

    And lt

  • AnthonyZoccolillo

    L.T. and Junior for sure.  Even worse that seeing Junior in the Dolphins jersey was seeing him in a Pats jersey though.

  • ShawnMakeEmSay

    Sproles & Jackson it seems like we create talent & end up giving it away

    • biggsybolt

      @ShawnMakeEmSay believe this, VJax is a diva and only plays for the cashish. His #’s will go way down not having Rivers throwing to him!

    • RMainwaring

       @ShawnMakeEmSay We definitely gave Sproles away but I wouldn’t consider V.J. a give away. We just couldn’t afford him.

    • BoogaP

       @ShawnMakeEmSay
       Agreed on Sproles.  I was pissed when VJax chased the cash, but I understand it.

      On the create talent and give it away…..AGREED. Sooo frustrating.

      • RMainwaring

         @BoogaP  @ShawnMakeEmSay Who will it be next?

        • ShawnMakeEmSay

          @RMainwaring @BoogaP I wannna be optimistic & say no one but it always happens. Two things we do give up our players & get massive injuries in the season

  • RMainwaring

    All you have to do is put the word “vomit” in your articles and you can stir up the pot!!

  • RMainwaring

    I think the one that made me sick the most was Sproles not because of how he looked but how he played. Just the fact that A.J. let such a valuable asset go is beyond my comprehension. Really made me wanna puke!

    • biggsybolt

      @RMainwaring In my mind there are 2 things to consider with Sproles leaving 1 being we payed 7 mill in 2010 for a 3rd down back and special steamer which I wasn’t all that impressed with that season. Next I believe the lockout had a huge affect on free agency, I think with a full free agency period we might have been able to retain him.

      • RMainwaring

         @biggsybolt Sproles said himself that what the Chargers offered him was an insult. He signed a 4 year 14 million contract with the Saints (3.5 mill per year) The Chargers only offered him what worked out to be like only 1 million a year. Obviously Turner could/should have better utilized him.

        • biggsybolt

          @RMainwaring Wow, I hadn’t heard we even made an offer! Been sheltered till last Sept when I finally got Direct TV. I still think the lockout had a huge affect on it, if he wanted to stay and had 2 months to negotiate, he would have! And then your right the Norv factor plays heavly all the time, hope that changes this season.

        • RMainwaring

           @biggsybolt  Yeah, I watched an interview with Sproles when asked about what the Chargers had offered him, he said it was like a slap in the face.

    LT hurt as well as Junior leaving. But for me Rodney Harrison was the worst. He went to NE and produced 3 rings…….kinda reminds me of Fred Dean when he won with Frisco……..or Gary Plummer in 94. I am not gonna lie, the bitter fan in me was glad Junior didnt win obe with the Pats. He needed to win it with his hometown team. This yr is dedicated to #55……SB OR BUST!!!! GO BOLTZP

    #HaterGonnaHate hahaha

    • biggsybolt

      @Gpettooh you forgot Ben Lieber!

      • Gpettooh

        @biggsybolt
        Legadu “poo” Nannee?

        • RMainwaring

           @Gpettooh  Yeah, good one. I forgot  Legadu Nannee. I couldn’t for the life of me figure out why the Chargers let him go. I always thought he had the best hands on the team. He caught just about every ball that came his way.

        • BoogaP

           “don’t you know who I am? – Legedu naanee

        • CindiSpears

           @Gpettooh  @biggsybolt I couldn’t believe it either.  He was our secret 1st down weapon.

         @biggsybolt  @Gpettooh that ben leber loss!!! man, that ws a tough one!! haha

      • RMainwaring

        • biggsybolt

          @RMainwaring Lol, got ya!!!!

    • RMainwaring

       @Gpettooh Olshitsky went to the Cowboys didn’t he?

      • BoogaP

         @RMainwaring
         Yup.

  • boltsfan1972

    I am going to say Merriman and Sproiles LT softened the blow by bad mouthing SD untill then I was on his side and was mad at orginazation for releaseing him I know Merriman has been injured since but I like him alot he brought swagger to our D and Sproles we was a good pass blocker and lighting in a bottle … BUT THAT BEING SAID THIS IS OUR YEAR I TRULY BELIEVE !!! BOLT UP!!!

  • chargerrocket

    I agree losing Junior, LT, and Sproles made me puke. Michael Turner made me sick but I didn’t blow chunks.

  • KeenanRickless

    Sproles made me sad. I like to believe in mathews, but sproles was underutilized there at the end

    • BoogaP

       @KeenanRickless
       Agreed.  One of the biggest mitakes by the Chargers organization. Sporles still has some great years left.

  • RMainwaring

    Vomit makes me wanna puke!

  • http://boltbeat.com/ epadaon

    LT in the Jets jersey HURT!! i hated seeing that mess

    • http://boltbeat.com/ epadaon

      it would be even worse if he decided to join the Pats!

    • RMainwaring

       @epadaon At least it wasn’t a Chefs, Broncos or even worse, a Raiders jersey!!

    • street

      especially after the disaster of a playoff loss to that bum sanchez just a few months earlier….. that one was bad… real bad.

  • tedipe1

    Each season there is a new one but the latest was VJ. It still bothers me though to see LT in the Jets jersey & Sproles joining Brees in the Saints jerseys.

  • VEazy

    I actually felt a little proud for Sproles when I saw him in Saints gear.

  • Jaynerf

    All of them!!!

  • Jaynerf

    All of them… And then some!

  • Joel Ayala

    Rodney Harrison by far!! Cuz we’ve been i’n a SS slump since he departed! Hopefully our luck changes with Brandon Taylor.

  • boltsfan1972

    OG and Kevin Burnett  also

  • street

    since the subject is vomit and i actually had several shots of jagermiester last night i will join the party….. but my “queasyness” starts a few years earlier… i was lucky enough to meet both j.j. and fred dean in 1980 and i dont think ive ever met a cooler dude than mean fredy dean….  he gave me a recording his band “mean fred dean and the lightn bolts” laid down in 79….. the dude looked like a pimp in a fritz the cat cartoon…. what i didnt get at age 12 was there was a business going on…. gene klein the scrooge of s.d. shipped him out along with j.j…. to see fred win defensive mvp and a ring to go along with it hurt.. especially with us becoming what would be a bad defense for the rest of the decade…. oh what could have been…………..

  • CindiSpears

    Junior Seau.  :-(

  • SandyPeisner

    I HATED seeing Junior Seau and Rodney Harrison in other uniform. I hate seeing LT in Jets uniform.
    These are CHARGERS

  • arnie

    pick one. any of them!

    • SandyPeisner

       @arnie LT

  • Chargertom

    Junior Seau! The most!

  • MikeTuck

    Junior, because he didn’t deserve the way they dropped him.
