Jarret Johnson "That Motha* Is Nonstop!"

Jarret Johnson is going to be a difference maker! He is not going to be flashy on the field, but he will make everyone work harder and he will be in the right position to make good things happen on the defense.

Takeo Spikes has been in the league for thousands of years and he was quoted (by Acee) with this gem “That mother#@$&!# is nonstop!” If he brings that intensity out on the practice field and is catching the eyes of players like Takeo, then you know he will have an impact on the younger guys on the team (Corey Liuget, Larry English, Melvin Ingram). Having a hard working attitude like that will be HUGE for the kids.

If we are going to win a championship, it is going to start out on the practice field. Double J will be working his tail off out there and making sure that everyone else is bringing that intensity. There is a new attitude out on the field and it should bring up the level of some of the guys out there. Jarret Johnson is going to be a difference maker!

    This defense should be incredible!!

That kind of attitude is contagious.  And with the number of new players in here (Don’t forget Mouton and the others) we could have a defense that will give teams fits.

Jarred Johnson should step up to be a leader of the defensive front, if Butler doesn’t feel that he is capable of being that leader Johnson has had a great leader to teach him what it means to be a leader. This is one of the most important issues this preseason is for a leader to step forward this Summer and get with Weddle to form a command of the defense this next year. Pagano hopefully plays Wade Phillips style of defense, but taking that style and putting it in action will be the defensive leaders job. We need a vocal leader up front Junior Seau style.

Double J is going to be a beast on first and second down sealing the strongside edge. I’m so excited about his pickup and added toughness. Welcome to Diego!!!!

So pumped to hear this and to have him our team. Sounds like he is exactly what this defense has been lacking. With him and spikes as the veteran leaders and paganos agreasive style this team should be inspired and fired up to play next season. Can’t wait to see this new and improved defense hit the field
