Cocky is letting Billy go and Whitehurst take his place. Rivers goes down and I'm rooting for Charlie Clipboard like a madman. But he's not Volek, Volek is a true backup that has winner all over him. He knows how to minimize the mistakes in a game and has a proven track record. To think that Rivers going down isn't a problem is naive at best. Smith's decision shows the difference between Cocky and Confident. Keeping Volek if your making a Superbowl run is a move well worth the money. Letting him go was insane at best. I really hope the play that Charlie got with the Seabirds helped him learn alot because if Rivers goes down the Players need someone they can believe in, that was Billy Volek.
