I unfortunately was unable to attend the Tribute on Friday for Junior Seau, but I hear that it was a day to remember. I asked the facebook fam to share their thoughts on the night and here is what they had to say:
Ramon Aguirre: A celebration full of memories, laughs, and truths. Fouts and LT had great speeches. Even getting to and from seemed to have everyone more tolerant and appreciative, glad to have had the opportunity to share in the families and communities healing.
Raquel Acosta So sad!! It was awesome of Spanos to open the stadium so that the whole Charger Family had a chance to honor #55.. God Bless the Seau Family!! It’s still just so sad!!
Theresa Garcia It was a beautiful way to say goodbye to our friend an hero……we laughed an cried together as a big family who lost there friend!!!!! He will be missed
Katie Duran It was a beautiful and uplifting evening. Very thankful for the Chargers setting up that (free) memorial and very thankful I was there. Great speeches were given, especially by his son. That night will stick with me forever.
Jon Vivian i was surprised at the turnout. I thought the stadium would be packed.
Gracie Rodriguez Omler It was a very memorable event with tears of joy for all the great things that Jr did for friends, family and the community. Very touching speech from everyone but his son Tyler gave the most heartwarming speech it showed all the great things that he learned from his dad. Thank You to all that made this memorial possible to allow to celebrate Jr Seau’s life and be able to show the Seau family our Love and support!
Eugene Kitagawa it was a great event. everyone gave great speeches. i was amazed by the love for LT. the crowd really erupted when LT’s turn came. the raider hate was funny. it doesnt take much more then mentioning the raiders to get chargers fans yelling.
Cody Knox Great night @ the Q! Dan Fauts did a good job talking about what happened. It was cool to see JOHN elway and Payton Manning to be there.
For anyone else that made it out there and were not able to share their thoughts on our Facebook page, just jump down toward the comments section and share what you thought about the event.
