A QB especially coming off the bench is only as good as his O-line. So if the young chargers linemen and the rookies play like a unit and protect charlie he'll get the job done. I don't want to see the clipboard calling in plays every down, because Rivers has the ability to run the offense 2-3 plays at a time. The pace is to slow and the defense reads the plays alot easier when you take so much time. The chargers need to practice the hurry-up half of their snaps, ( see Brady and Manning ) Rivers should be at the line with half the clock left. This would lessen the offensive mistakes for minus yards. Also a 3rd QB would be nice to have to be training for the coming years.
