Video From The Junior Seau Paddle-Out in Oceanside

Via Instagram @surfride

Yesterday, a large group of surfers paddled out in Oceanside at the strand in memory of Junior Seau. I found video of a local, steelejake, who mounted his GoPro onto his stick and shared the experience from the water:

I really thought the Ocean would be Juniors piece of mind after football. it really shows the emotion of having to leave a sport you loved so much, along with all the guys you played with and against. it relly saddens me he couldn’t have reached out to a proffeshional psychologist in his darkest hours. But then again I really understand how it draws you into a shell and you can’t get out. Depression is the worst thing in life I’ve faced. I hope Junior has found that peace away from the darkness.
