Melvin Ingram Featured in Everything to Prove

Last year, Gatorade and NFL.com took fans behind the scenes as several NFL rookies trained for the draft and later the 2011 NFL season in the online web series “Everything to Prove.”

The series is back for a second season with 11 rookies, including Chargers Defensive End Melvin Ingram,preparing for the biggest moment of their careers as they continuing their training – fueled by Gatorade – to make a big impact on the Chargers.

The three-part draft special is currently available on NFL.com/ETP. Each episode focuses on each athletes’ background and how they prepared for the NFL Draft. The third episode gives a closer look at their NFL Draft experience as they anxiously awaited to hear their names called.

Highlights

·         In Episode Two, Ingram visits Lucas Oil Stadium before the Super Bowl performs and explains his passion for the game.

·         In Episode Three, Ingram is selected fifth overall by the Chargers.

 The series will resume in August, detailing the rookies’ experiences with their new NFL season, and continue through the season.
