Top 100 Players of 2012: 81-90

Yesterday the NFL Network unveiled players ranked 81-90 of their Top 100 players of 2012. There are a couple of former Chargers on this list:

90: Hakeem Nicks, WR, NYG
89: Dwight Freeney, DE, IND
88: Michael Turner, RB, ATL
87: London Fletcher, LB, WAS
86: Darren Sproles, RB, NO
85: NaVorro Bowman, LB, SF
84: Chris Long, DE, STL
83: Fred Jackson, RB, BUF
82: Joe Thomas, OT, CLE
81: Vince Wilfork, DT, NE

How good was our runningbacks unit when we had LaDainian Tomlinson, Michael Turner and Darren Sproles all part of it?! RIDICULOUS, that we were never able to do more with those teams!

Two former Chargers are on this section. We know the talents of the Lightning Bug and the Burner Turner and we will get to see both of them in the 2012 season.

After seeing the runningbacks on this section, should we just assumed that Ryan Mathews will not be on this list?

He should be on the list.  But you are probably right.

@BoogaP he was on the pro bowl… he really should be part of this list.. and if we are going off of reputation, then antonio gates should sneak on this list.. but gates would be showing up real soon on this list if he were to make it
