Robert Meachem Confirmed He Had Surgery In The Offseason

According to the UT, our newly signed WR Robert Meachem had arthroscopic knee surgery after the end of last season.

Can we stop coming out with all these stories of surgeries with our Chargers players? They say that Meachem should be fine by the start of the season, but I hate hearing any news of our players going under the knife.

Meachem is expected to be a big contributor on the offense this season. He was signed to be the starting receiver opposite of Malcom Floyd and is expected to get the most playing time of his NFL career. Hopefully this little cleanup of the knee recovers quickly and Meachem is able to make those quick cuts in and out of traffic.

       Is this Kris?

      • BoogaP

         If not sorry.

I’m betting AJ knew about it and is satisfied with the prognosis otherwise he (HOPEFULLY) wouldn’t have signed him as our replacement #1 receiver.

@RussellGrant AH is not an idiot the guy is more intellegent than we give him credit for. Meachem is gona be fine its crazy how things like this make people go crazy. Arthroscopic knee surgery is nothing and the incisions r so small u can barely tell. That is like the least risky knee surgery that exists. Real talk.

wow…I knew AJ was a fraud!!!!! wow….had us believing…all I can say is I hope this season isn’t a train wreck

  • RMainwaring

No worries. It’s not like he tore an ACL or something. He’ll be fine.

And now for something completely different: What happened to Adonis Thomas? I thought he was a Bolt.

  • Bleu

The procedure he had is nothing I went through that wen I was 16 n bounced rite back to play for my school real soon.

AJ is by no means an idiot we have gamechangers on our roster but we are a young team. Ppl dont realize we are rebuilding our d. Maturity, poise, football savvy, n physicality is what we need on d. Judging by all of the young players we have on d we have that but I think for the past 2 seasons we really lacked depth at key positions. One guy can’t play every snap we are only human n I think they understand that now. Balance is the key. I’m really pushing for Jonas mouton this season. That ilb position is major.
