I still like it knowing that we can put him on IR and kind of reserve him via the draft and fill another position of need yet retain him for the future. I like his size but hate his lack of speed and quickness!

I want to say Ingram but really have a hard time believing that my wife’s fav plyr, Gates, can stay healthy all year long. There fore meaning Green will see more time than anticipated. He has a frame that can fill out and not lose speed. He could use to gain another 12-17 lbs.

It Happens every year:
I see fans coming away from the first pre season (win) game with their index finger in the air
saying “we are number 1 and going to the Super Bowl” It has become the fools parade. The Chargers will have a problem capturing the Division with the Broncos QB’ed by a healthy Peyton
Manning and a greatly improving Raiders team. The Bolts will have to go to 9-7 just to make the
playoffs and must obtain a record of 10-6 to win the division. With the Bolts current head coach the
Raiders will win the division and the Chargers will place somewhere in second or third place. If
I am wrong and the Bolts get a home (first game) playoff game they must go very deep into the
playoffs to be considered back on track as a credible contender each year. Rivers is a quality quarter back but not a complete player – he cannot run and is under achieving when the “pocket” breaks down.
The O line will tell the story of the Chargers 2012 season. Hold on it is going to be a bumpy ride.
Prediction: The Chargers go 9-7 and get a Wild Card game – lose and go home.

I hope you are correct, however the last six seasons have all been disappointing and I do not see
the Smith/Turner led Bolts doing close to that record. I have said it before; get to and win the AFC
Championship game then tell me we will go all the way.

That’s ridiculous, even in the tough years of Mike Riley I went to every single game, showed my pride and supported my team. You should direct your comments to BoogaP he is the one who went off topic when I was addressing the problems with the Chargers. If you look at the history of the Spanos family’s
ownership (1984) you will see many glaring mistakes in guiding the team. If you or BoogaP or
biggsybolt wish to talk in person I will be touring Qualcomm stadium (by invitation) on May 16th. If you did not get an invitation then perhaps you are not a season seat holder. I am worried that you three
squirts are buying into the mediocre play of my Chargers. Look at the better/winning franchises (Steelers-Patriots-Giants) and they are owned by family’s that believe in quality football and demand
excellence. They hire management and coaches that know what they are doing. Just look at the record of quality coaches who were successful but fired by the Bolts ownership/management -
Don Coryel – Bobby Ross – Marty Schottenheimer. I have been a fan since the Chargers came to town in 1961, I sat on the hard concrete benches of the sixties glory years and took in the Beatles concert
in August 1965. Do your history 101 and just think (on the short side) if we are better now than the
last (2006) year of Schottenheimer when we finished at 14-2. The last two years we failed to win the
division against three really crappy teams; Raiders-Broncos & Chiefs. What will be the excuse if we are not in the playoffs at the end of this season?

You do have some valid points, but your spelling and sentence/paragraph structure make it too difficult to decipher. Every team has its ups and downs you have to learn to get over it. OH wait YOU CAN’T TEACH OLD DOGS NEW TRICKS! Did you know when you started spewing about Boss Ross that he has only coached a team for 5 years at a time? That includes college and pros. I doubt it! When you started spewing about the bad management firing great coaches did you know that the so called bad management got the players to make the teams good and with the exception of Marty were fired by the same GM that hired him? Doubt it! Did you know that when AJ fired Marty they had already been arguing for 2 years? I doubt it! Do you know that Norv has the most wins out of any coach in Chargers history? I doubt it! Do you realize the the NFL is a business? I doubt it! Who needs the history lesson? That would be you!

As for your 3 “squirts” comment ….open wide and be prepared to swallow a huge load!
