SAN DIEGO — The San Diego Chargers have agreed to a one-year contract with free-agent wide receiver and kick returner Roscoe Parrish.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported San Diego has signed Parrish to a one-year deal. He played in two games with the Buffalo Bills last season and in eight games the season before. Parrish has played his entire career with the Bills since joining the league in 2005, has 134 career catches and has been a successful return man.
The team agreed to a one-year deal with former Bills returner Roscoe Parrish. He will join Richard Goodman at the back end of the team’s rotation at wide receiver.
If quarterback Philip Rivers can avoid the interception bug: He threw a career-high 20 interception in 2011. Rivers threw a total of 22 interceptions in the previous two seasons combined.
Won’t find any arguments from me. Assuming he’s healthy, this is a solid pick at a position that isn’t necessarily a major need but could be upgraded. San Diego quickly has one of the better safety tandems in the league with this pick.
