He is a GREAT tackler, very fast to the ball carrier, and can cover a lot of college wr's. However, I don't see him as a great fit for the Chargers. I am also a huge Chargers fan. I think he could convert to SS but the Chargers using a second round pick on a project when the have a big hole to fill today is probably not the best idea.
