The point of the article is simple: Prepare for six shoot outs in our division. The Chiefs can be a tough team and Arrowhead is not easy to play in. Manning for all of his age makes Denver dangerous. Expect to see Addai and Saturday there in the next week as he rebuilds Indy West. and Oakland under the direction of someone not named Al, that knows what it's like to win in Green Bay is going to be trying to cement his legacy. AJ, for all of Spanos' confidence in him, has a real fight on his hands. The wild wild west is back.

@epadaon I think Matt Cassel has a lot in common with Mark Sanchez - when everything around them is ideal they can be good managers of the game. Neither of them have elite capabilities, and break down when things around them aren't perfect. Matt Cassel looked very good spelling Brady in New England, that's why he's in KC now...if the stars align just right in KC like they did in New England, then Cassel can play well enough to secure a division title for the Chiefs. If 2012 is the year that all the youngsters mature in KC, then the Chiefs will be a real threat. I'm not saying the threat will materialize this year - but the potential is there. It's up to the Chargers to play to their full ability and keep this from becoming an issue in the first place. But given the Chargers' penchant for underperforming, I wouldn't count on that to happen. It will be interesting, at least!
