Chargers Re-Sign TE Randy McMichael

The Chargers brought back Randy McMichael for another couple of seasons. McMichael is a good blocking tight end and he also has the ability to help in the passing attack. He will be the backup to Antonio Gates.

    I am very stoked about this signing Ernie!!  When I saw that we had re-signed Sperry, which I also like, I thought that McMichael was as good as gone.  The dude is just a great football player.  Ironically enough, the league is lacking in that department overall.  The guy was blocking for roughly 70% of the time he was in the game!!  When he was a Dolphin I really wanted him to find a way to San Diego.  Well, that happened.  And now he has come back to his true home!!
