Washington Redskins Got Their Quarterback, Focus Now Could Shift To Vincent Jackson

What a BOLD move by the Washington Redskins to move up a few spots in the draft in order to select Robert Griffin III. Now that they do not have any first round picks in the next couple of drafts and they will also be minus their second round pick this season, they will be HUGE players in the free agency market. They got the quarterback that they wanted, but now they need to surround him with some playmakers. One of the players they might go all-in on is WR Vincent Jackson.

We didn’t apply the franchise tag on Vincent and now he is the best wide receiver available. He could be the perfect deep threat target for Griffin out in Washington. Dan Snyder is not shy about paying top dollar for free agents, so they could push us out of the price range for VJ.

If VJ really wants to go to a team with a rookie quarterback so be it. But just remember VJ – Washington is were free agents ( and their careers )  go to die!

Let him go.  I’ll take the 3rd or 4th round Compensatory pick in 2013, Robert Meachem and the saved Cap $.  Get Mario. Draft Decastro or Glenn at #18.  Trade up in the 2nd and get Harrison Smith.

I wouldn’t match the Redskins if they make an inflated offer.  I would tell VJ, here’s $50M, take it or leave it.

They just took a 30M cap hit….He might have just became to pricey
