When Peyton Manning met with Jim Isray two weeks before the 1998 NFL draft he ended the meeting with a simple phrase “I’ll win for you”.  Two weeks later, he was Isray’s number one draft pick.

Now, after 14 years, four  NFL MVP titles, a career record of 141-67, 35 fourth-quarter comebacks and 46 game-winning drives and a Super Bowl championship in 2006, Peyton Manning has been released by the Colts.

He kept his word, he won for them.
