Chargers Hire Byron Storer As Special Teams Assistant

That is our new coach making the tackle a couple of seasons ago - Kim Klement-US PRESSWIRE

The San Diego Chargers added another member to their coaching staff with the hire of Byron Storer. Storer is just a couple of seasons out of playing the game as a special teamer for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers under Rich Bisaccia. Last season, he was working as the Special Teams Assistant with the Bucs.

The Chargers seem to be getting as much coaching help for Norv Turner as possible. Coach Bisaccia was given more responsibilities this offseason with the promotion as a assistant head coach. Just in case Norval is FIRED, Bisaccia would probably be the lead candidate to take over and Storer could then run the special teams. JUST IN CASE! :)

Great signing, but if Turner were to take us to the playoffs and no further, Spanos should use as much influence as possible to have him take the O-Coordinators job with alot of flatery and money for a good O-coordinator. Then let Bisaccia Coach the team at a lesser salery until he’s proven himself worthy. Incentives for a secound year and then 3rd. But Turner is a great play caller if he’s not coaching, plus the team likes him and has his back.
