He has just been hired by the Jacksonville Jaguars as an Assistant Secondary Coach (Aaron Wilson). He better remind those guys about ball security!!! If you make an interception, just get down on the ground!
Here was his thoughts on the interception for that playoff game:
Anytime I get the ball I am going to try and score regardless,” said McCree. “Troy Brown stripped it. He made a great play, and I was trying to make a big play. (In) hindsight I don’t regret it because I would never try and just go down on the (ground). I want to score. (UT)
It was FOURTH DOWN!!! Just knock the ball down OR just get on the ground and let’s go home with the WIN!
God, Family, Football in that order! Absolutely love the San Diego Chargers and have grown up here in San Diego since I was a wee little kid. I grew up in the Bobby Ross era of football and watched Stan Humphries, Junior Seau and that crew bring us to the Super Bowl to only get blasted. Sat through the hard times of being a Chargers fan and just waiting to see the glory of a championship here in the city that I love. I will talk football all day long and will cheer and cry with the rest of you guys with our team. I look forward to writing about the team and enjoying the discussions back and forth.
