NFL Mocks: Chargers Select OT Riley Reiff w/ 15th Pick

It has been a couple of weeks since we have checked in at NFL Mocks to see what they have mocked in the draft for us. There latest mock has us focusing in on the offensive line with this pick:

15. San Diego Chargers (7-8)-Riley Reiff, T, Iowa
The Chargers should consider a few positions here to me. They could consider Dontari Poe, I think. But really think they should consider Offensive tackle, cornerback, and pass rusher. Courtuney Upshaw makes a lot of sense here, but I’ve mocked him a lot to the Chargers so I’ll take a different route here. Reiff can play LT or RT in the N.F.L. and be a fixture for the Chargers for the next 10 years. – NFL Mocks

The way this season has gone, the offensive front has to become a big focus for us in this draft. Kris Dielman, Marcus McNeill and Nick Hardwick may not return next season for a variety of reasons. Our o-line is hurting bad.

Reiff is a 6’6″ 300 lb tackle out of Iowa and can play either the left side or the right side. The Chargers need to bring back Jared Gaither for another season and then figure out what they will do with McNeill. Reiff could be the selection if McNeill is not brought back. Reiff and Gaither could be our starting tackles with Clary coming off of the bench.
