Chargers Year in Review: May

The 2011 calendar is coming to and end and we are about to welcome in 2012 very soon. Hopefully we can celebrate it with some fireworks and some the Chargers sneaking into the playoffs. Anything is possible! With 2011 ending, let’s look back throughout the year and review what has happened.

Here is May 2011:

May 6: Antwan Applewhite arrested for suspicion of DUI. At that moment we knew that Applewhite would not be returning to the team.

May 21: Larry English needed a second surgery on his foot. We should have known from that day he would never be health for this season.

May 25: Philip Rivers says that he is all for the addition of WR Steve Smith… Too bad Philip doesn’t make the personnel decisions

May 31: the Madden 12 cover was released and we knew that Peyton Hillis would have a terrible year. He kept the curse alive!

May 31: Ryan Leaf started his road to recovery from brain surgery.

Another slow month for the Bolts because of the lockout!
