I Remember That Chargers Football Team!

Chargers 38 – Jaguars 14

Do you guys remember that football team? Those are our San Diego Chargers and they are making a last ditch effort to try and salvage this season. Philip Rivers looked pretty sharp throughout the game and the patch work offensive line did an impressive job.

Ryan Mathews looked unstoppable running the football. He ran for 112 yards and a score with an average of 8.6 yards a carry. Malcom Floyd was back in the action and he had 108 yards receiving and scored a touchdown. We scored 5 touchdowns on the day and we looked like the dominant team that we have been waiting to see all season long.

The defense contributed with an interception and the defensive line added a pair of sacks. It sure feels good to take out some aggression on the woeful Jaguars. Next up is the Buffalo Bills and we are only a couple of games out from the division leaders. There is still hope that we can still pull something out!

I expected the Offense to produce that many numbers, seeing as though both those corners were rookies, and one of them being a street agent. But I was plesantly suprised to see the Defense do something, even though that was the 31st Offense they went up against….

All and all, a good stomping that was supposed to happen. And it broke our streak.

I was glad to see all 3 big targets out there putting in work

  • Cindi Spears-Cahill

    I remember them too.

It was a nice game, and what we all expected all season. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but Norv Turnip called a very good game. With a little luck, scratch that, with a lot of luck we could still make the playoffs.

@BoJackRusso Yea… need A LOT of things to happen for us.. Denver basically needs to go 1-3 for us to get in…. just posted the info here: http://boltbeat.com/2011/12/06/broncos-win-2-games-and-chargers-are-done/

@epadaon Yeah, I was just reading that. The Donkeys should lose to NE and the Bears, our big obstacle is Baltimore. I’m also worried about Suh and the Lions, but we have a shot!
