@MikeTuck

I agree completely! It seems whenever we are behind in the slightest, we give up on the run entirely and let the opponents defense drop into coverage without regretting it.

Jackson, Floyd, Gates, Brown, and Hester + RB's. But first wear down these Defenses on the ground. If our offensive line can become one as a unit and that includes the 2nd string, they can beat on the Dline for a half and then pass blocking will be alot easier. Rivers and the backs will shine. Don't be so damn impatient, give your D a rest and let these two horses have some fun. The key is in the mixing it up. You attack up the middle when they're wore out, first run their legs down with swings and cut backs. Let Mckinley and Todman jpin in if the other two are hurting. But if you want Rivers to have more time he needs to use the 3 step drop and line his running backs closer to the line, and for gods sake quit giving the D time to set up. You start being successful with the run, hurry the offense and keep those big guys on their heels. Recievers your big so use it to block their CB's until their beat. Secound half means your open alot easier. And like I said if Rivers works on the basics, slight of hand can make LB's and cameramen look like fools. So get someone that knows the trick the best and have a few lessons. can't hurt.
