Stephen Cooper has been Released by the Chargers

Sexy Coop for the Ladies

The Chargers have released LB Stephen Cooper. He has barely seen the field this year and with Na’il Diggs getting more playing time, he became more expendable.

Stephen Cooper has been informed he will be released. I’m assuming the move is to make room for a running back.

This could make room for Frank Summers or Curtis Brinkley to be brought up from the practice squad. The running back depth at the end of the Bronco game was thin and the team wants to add one more back to the roster. They do not feel that Jordan Todman is ready to see gameday action and want to have a more experienced back on the roster.

Coop has done a lot of great things for the team and has been a good leader for the young guys on the roster. He lost his starting spot this year with Takeo Spikes and Donald Butler taking control of the middle of the defense.

Honestly i thought that coach shanahan did a very honorable thing by going for two..i’m not a broncos or chargers fan..but the way he went about it was honorable-
