More Injuries: Jacques Cesaire Out At Least 2 Weeks

Another bite from the injury bug to our defensive lineman. Rookie Corey Liuget already sat out the game last week with an injury, but he will attempt to make a return to practice this week. Luis Castillo is still sitting out with and injury and will miss a few more weeks. Now, veteran Jacques Cesaire will be missing a couple of games with a strained right knee.

The Chargers may want to look at bringing in some depth at the position since we are getting beaten by injuries at the position. The Chargers could look toward former Bolt Travis Johnson to fill the position. He is available right now and already has a good chemistry with the players in the locker room. Alex Brown is also another veteran that is available.

Defensive tackle Antonio Garay also left the game with an injury to his head, but he was able to return back to the game and he should be ready for Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins. We will also keep our eyes out on the status of Quentin Jammer as the week goes on.
