GAMEDAY!!!! It is what we have been waiting for y’all!! Time to see the Bolts knock out the Chiefs and start moving onto week 4 action!
SAN DIEGO — As disappointing as it was to commit four turnovers and lose to Tom Brady and the New England Patriots, the San Diego Chargers can at least tell themselves that things aren’t as bad as they are with the Kansas City Chiefs.
The odds of the Kansas City Chiefs leaving San Diego on Sunday afternoon with a victory are about as good as the stock market going on a 300-point a day roll for about a week. Then again, this is the Chargers they will be facing.
Excitement is fine, but it requires the crossing of only a fine line for potential to become a dirty word.
“I always have a chip on my shoulder on Sundays,” Clary, 28, said. “It’s just who I am. I kind of put myself down to make myself work harder, to get ready. It’s probably not a really good technique. I wouldn’t (recommend) it to a lot of people because it’s way better to have confidence. But in my mind, I kind of doubt myself.”
It wasn’t the impressive passing, the blocking or the “drink early” passion of the New England Patriots’ fans.
