Chargers 20 - Chiefs 17: WHEW!

It was supposed to be a blowout and the Chargers came out and played down to the level of the Kansas City Chiefs. We played TERRIBLE!!!

Philip Rivers threw 2 interceptions AGAIN and just looked out of sync. He looked hurried in the pocket and left the pocket again wincing in pain. He did just enough to lead the team to victory.

Ryan Mathews was able to carry the team on his back with 98 rushing yards and 2 scores.

We need to step up the intensity and not look so bored out on the field. We came out flat to start the game and these turnovers are making things closer than they should. We escaped a victory today, but we won’t be playing the crappy Chiefs every week.

I will take the win, but this performance was pathetic. This still counts as a slow start for the team! We just were lucky enough to find a team that didn’t suck as bad as we do.

Ryan Mathews took the goal line carries this week and was able to score twice. He showed speed to the outside and a burst up the middle.

Donald Butler led the team in tackles and played well in the middle of the defense.

We came up short again on a 4th and short play. We didn’t let the time run out as much as it could have on the play either. Poor clock management.

Lots of players left the game on defense: Quentin Jammer, Antonio Garay, Jacques Cesaire. We will have to see their status during the week.

Eric Weddle actually caught the ball when it was thrown in his hands. I will take it.

Ernie….ur an idiot. But, so are the majority of Chargers Fans! Just a bunch of whining, pathetic bandwagon bitches who deserve 2 have this team & it’s rich history pack up & leave 4 somewhere/anywhere where they might actually be welcome & appreciated for once.I have followed this team since the days of “air coryell” thru the lean years, last place finishes & foolish franchise QBs! Wake up U losers!Pay close attention 2 now becuz these r some of the best seasons we have ever enjoyed…..but U have become 2 spoiled 2 care…..well, maybe U will miss them once they have gone & finally won that elusive Super Bowl 4 another city that loves & adores them 4 who they are & not just in ” fair weather”!!!

@Masterofnone72 wow.. are you sure you are a Bolts fan? Why are you calling everyone out?

I can’t say I was watching during the Air Coryell days, but I have watched this team through some bad football. Craig Whelihan, Ryan Leaf and all leading this team.

We have HIGH expectations! Is that wrong? Were you happy with the performance you saw on Sunday? I don’t understand your gripe at all.

Of course I am happy with the 2-1 record, but that does not mean we have played good football at this time.
