Chargers DT Antonio Garay Fined $15K For Hit on Brady

Antonio Garay has been fined by the league for the hit that he put on Tom Brady in Sunday’s game. The tackle was low and the quarterback was Tom the UNTOUCHABLE. You breathe on Tom Brady wrong and the league will send you a fine.

I remember there was a personal foul in the game on a Patriots player for driving Philip Rivers into the ground AND I still don’t see that fine passed out by the league. That one was actually penalized in the game!

Maybe the league didn’t see the pictures of Antonio Garay in his Hello Kitty car. I thought his punishment was to drive around in that thing.

The NFL, NBA & MLB are about product and the favorite or best selling players product is protected and given special treatment. this started during the Michael Jordan era and killed the NBA. Just like our government these organizations are about money, players included. And when you get lawyers at the very top of your organization it becomes as honest as the lawyers running it.Stern was known for saving the NBA, it was Larry Bird and Majic Johnson bringing back team play which is what these sports are suppose to be about. Espn bought into it with the highlight reel, which put athletic players in marketing. This puts a higher value on these players making them protected. Marketing also owns the leages to the greatest extent, which means greater money from top to bottom. You could call it pyramid league, those that are the greatest sellers move on up, rookies and your blue collar players will never be treated the same. Listening to the other teams defensive calls is out and out the worst infraction since the Black Sox, yet was treated with kid gloves, the reputation of the league and it’s reigning champions was at stake. Lets play flag football!!!!
