Chargers vs Vikings: Crayton Out and Bryan Walters to Play Slot Position

Patrick Crayton missed another day of practice yesterday and will likely be out for the season opener against the Minnesota Vikings. Crayton is the slot receiver and will be replaced in the lineup by the preseason phenom Bryan Walters. Walters has been moving on up on this depth chart and should see plenty of action this weekend.

This time he will have Philip Rivers throwing him the rock instead of Billy Volek or Scott Tolzien. Let’s hope that he will be able to recreate that magic  he possessed in the preseason and can bring it out to the bright shining stage of Jack Murphy Stadium. If we hear “Cornell” a lot this Sunday, then we know that Mr. Walters is rocking it out!

Private Bryan, let’s make that magic happen!
