Like the fearless leader of Bolt Beat, The Greg One is also going to give you a weekly picks. I have been forecasting for over a decade and have never had a losing season record. I hit 60% of my picks and here I will put my picks up for public consumption, starting with tonight’s season opener.

New Orleans at Green BayBarnburner first game ends with Packers winning 31-24.

Philadelphia at St. LouisBradford is good but still only in his second year. This will be be his first game against blitz happy Philadelphia. Despite the significant turnover on Philadelphia’s defense, Eagles will win 30-17.

Buffalo at Kansas CityBuffalo is awful and playing in one of the hardest and loudest stadiums to win in on the road. Chiefs win 17-13.

Atlanta at ChicagoBears aren’t what they used to be and Jay Cutler will throw two picks in this game. Falcons win 28-16.

Detroit at Tampa BayThis will be a game in my NFL Sunday Ticket rotation. Two exciting teams on the rise. Advantage to home team Tampa wins 23-20.

Tennessee at JacksonvilleLet me get this straight, Jacksonville dumps their starting quarterback David Garrard the week of the first game and hand the job to…Luke McCown?? To quote the Countdown crew, COME ON MAN!!! Tennessee wins 27-10

Cincinnati at ClevelandColt McCoy has turned the corner this preseason and Cincinnati is the dumpster fire they have been for years. McCoy doesn’t have a great receiving corps but he will throw three touchdowns. Cleveland wins 33-9.

Pittsburgh at BaltimoreCoin flip. Flacco can’t seem to beat Roethlisberger. Coin says take Ravens at home 21-20.

Indianapolis at HoustonPerfect storm for Houston despite Foster injury. Key game against Colts minus Peyton Manning equal Texans win 27-17.

New York Giants at WashingtonGiants have been decimated by injuries in offseason and preseason. Washington is a mess at quarterback and still don’t like receivers. New York wins with defense, 23-16.

Minnesota at San DiegoVikes have Adrian Peterson who rushed for 296 last meeting versus Chargers, an aging Donovan McNabb and average receivers. Not good enough. Chargers win 34-20.

Carolina at ArizonaThis one could get ugly early. Cardinals will score td’s on offense AND defense, winning 38-13.

Seattle at San FranciscoWorst game on the slate will have a score just as ugly. Take San Francisco 16-13.

Dallas at New York JetsI do not like Mark Sanchez as a quarterback. Jets defense will win games in spite of him but not this one. Cowboys pull mini-shocker 28-24.

New England at MiamiNo contest. Brady makes it look easy. pats win 42-12.

Oakland at DenverThe race for the bottom of the AFC West begins. Denver wins 20-14.

Let the madness begin! Great to have football back. Looking forward to seeing if I can beat the boss. Coming for ya Ernie! What do you think of the picks bolt nation?
