Former “star” draft pick Tim Tebow is basically being run out of town. After competing for the starting position, Tebow lost the job to former starter Kyle Orton. Then to make matters worse for him, he lost the backup job to former Notre Dame star Brady Quinn. Then this morning news rolled out of Denver that based on performance he should be 4th in line behind undrafted Rookie Adam Weber. WHO?! Honestly, the guy is a natural athlete with a passion for the game. In the right offense he would be a stud, but in Denver he is just a donkey. Where do I see him fitting? Miami and Buffalo could be natural suitors for him as he would thrive in an option or Wildcat offense. Either way I just hope the negative media follows the Broncos because most likely it will turn around to haunt them.
This was quoted from a source with the Denver organization.
“If everything was totally equal, and this were a competition based only on performance at this camp, Tebow would probably be the fourth-string guy,” one source told Silver. “Kyle [Orton] is far and away the best, and Tebow’s way behind [Brady] Quinn, too. And I’m telling you, Adam Weber is flat-out better right now.”
The Broncos are a mess and we need to take advantage of it.
