I try to dodge this stupid subject any chance I get, but any time big news happens on the LA Stadium news front, I can’t just pretend like nothing happened. Here is the latest news on Farmers Field in Los Angeles:
LA city council votes 12-0 in favor of a downtown stadium.
So the stadium crossed another hurdle with that vote and now the search for a team (or teams) that will play in the downtown stadium will intensify. Of course our Chargers are on top of the list of teams that are rumored to head north, but hopefully we can pull a Malcom Floyd and find a way to stay in town.
Doesn’t it make a butt ton of sense for the Jacksonville Jags to head out to Los Angeles because they have some of the least fan support in the league. How about the Minnesota Vikings? Their stadium just has a huge hole in the middle of it from when the roof collapsed. Why not even bring back the Rams and that Raiders? Those teams are LOVED by the fans in Los Angeles! The Buffalo Bills? Isn’t that why Shawne Merriman agreed to sign with the Bills? Anyone but our Chargers!!!
I HATE LA! I HATE LA! I HATE LA!
