Naanee, who played college football at Boise State, was drafted 172nd overall in the 5th round of the 2007 draft by the Chargers. During his four seasons in the NFL he managed 746 yards on 63 receptions. Naanee is familiar with some aspects of the Panthers offense as he was in San Diego during Rob Chudzinski’s tenure there.
