Morning Dump

Today, we do the same with former San Diego Chargers LB Brandon Siler, who has reportedly agreed to terms with the Chiefs. John from SB Nation’s Bolts From The Blue has hooked us up with a little more on Siler.

The news about Floyd and the Ravens appeared to slow down over the weekend, but Sunday night Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post tweeted that the Ravens still “have interest” in Floyd.

When Takeo Spikes picked up the phone on Tuesday morning — at 10 a.m. sharp (7 o’clock in San Diego), the first allowable minute for teams to call free agents — it was Chargers General Manager A.J. Smith’s voice he heard.

The No. 18 overall pick still doesn’t have a contract, which caused him to miss his fourth practice on Sunday. He’s already missed two walk-thrus and a lot of classroom time.

After that, the pecking order for primary pass catchers is a little fuzzy. The Chargers finished the free agent frenzy without signing a veteran receiver from outside the organization.
