Chargers Should Take A Look at Titans LB Stephen Tulloch in Free Agency

The Bolts need help in the middle of the defense with Kevin Burnett, Brandon Siler, and Stephen Cooper all free agents. Hopefully the team brings back either Burnett or Cooper (Hopefully Burnett) and then brings in one of the free agent middle linebackers that are available.

There have been plenty of discussions about the possibilities of Kirk Morrison and Takeo Spikes, but there has not been much chatter about the linebacker out of Tennessee Stephen Tulloch. He will be a free agent once the lockout is all completed and there should be plenty of teams that are interested in his services.

Just in case you never heard of him (and I don’t blame you if you didn’t), he is the starting middle linebacker for the Titans and was SECOND in the league in tackles behind Jerod Mayo. He is much younger that Spikes at 26 years old. He is a bit undersized, but he makes up for it with his strength. athleticism, and intelligence. He just is a tackling machine!

A duo of Burnett and Tulloch in the middle of the defense would be SICK. Donald Butler and Jonas Mouton would be backing them up and providing depth on the bench. We have to bring someone in to play in the middle of the defense and Tulloch would be a great option.
