Vincent Brown Impressing Teammates

The Bolts are continuing to get out on the field to get ready for the season and it sounds like one of the youngsters is impressing some of the veterans on the team. Here is what Jacob Hester tweeted about WR Vincent Brown:

Good to have some of the young guys working out with us! Vincent Brown is impressive!less than a minute ago via Twitter for iPhone Favorite Retweet Reply

The Bolts receiving unit is a mystery heading into the season. Starters Vincent Jackson and Malcom Floyd are free agents and there may or may not (depending on results of lockout) be a franchise tag available for VJ. Patrick Crayton would be the favorite to start in the slot, but it sounds like Brown could be challenging to get some playing time there. We will see what the roster looks like when this lockout business is done and over with.

This kid was a stud at San Diego State and he already had gotten a good endorsement from Hall of Fame wide receivers coach Charlie Joiner. Now he has some veterans showing him some love? Really excited to see what he can do at the next level. I do think that Crayton played exceptionally well last year, so I would love to see some 4 receiver sets. Jackson, Floyd, Crayton, Vincent and Gates. ARE YOU KIDDING ME????

Maybe Ryan Mathews can pass it to him a couple times. :P

Dump M80 or let him walk, bring me SS89 and then look at our WRs….YIKES!

Drop Floyd -get a clue!!! Steve smith would look great in the slot, but Floyd has been one of the most reliable recievers the Chargers have had. Smith in the slot would be fantastic, floyds problems last year were a result of Jackson bing on vacation. Floyd was doubled most of the time, Nanee was inefective, Rivers was getting twice as much pressure, andGates was out. Floyd makes 3rd downs w/ outstanding catches, no fear across the middle, and had injury problems because of all the above. Jackson and Floyd w/ Smith in the slot Sejitutu and Brown depth, Gates back 100%. Now that’s a Defenses worst nightmare. Stop the team turntable and stick w/ the teamates Rivers trust. Joiner probably has Floyds back, and Floyd won’t ask a arm and leg because he loves the Chargers. San Diego land of the Marines, you don’t leave those few good men behind!!!!!!!
