Morning Dump

This morning I was reading through Joel Thorman’s post about which NFL trades should happen once trades are once again legal. I was shocked at how much he and I were in agreement about each one, with two exceptions….

With the number one offense and the number one defense in the NFL last year, the reason the San Diego Chargers 9-7 season missed the playoffs was simple, special teams.

2. Stephen Cooper, ILB, San Diego Chargers. He turns 32 in June, and age and injuries have caught up with him, but the undrafted free agent-turned-solid-starter has worked well within the 3-4 where he gets help inside. He comes with good leadership qualities to help a young team that’s making the transition to the scheme.
