Ranking the draft possibilities

The Chargers need defense and with the 18th pick in the draft, they should be targeting either an outside linebacker or a defensive end. This draft is deep in both positions and we should have plenty of options when are turn comes around in the order.

Here is how the draft board should look for the Bolts:
1. DE JJ Watt
2. DE Cameron Jordan
3. LB Akeem Ayers
4. LB Aldon Smith
5. LB Ryan Kerrigan
6. DE Muhammad Wilkerson
7. DE Cameron Heyward

One of these players should be available by the time our pick comes around and we will be hoping that it is either Jordan or Watt. If either of those guys are available when our pick comes around, then we will be sprinting to to the podium to make our selection. Either player would start on the defensive line and would make an immediate impact on the defense.

The players ranked 3-6 can all be mixed in a hat and just pull a name. They all have good potential and it will just be up to AJ’s preference at that minute of his decision. He is probably resorting the order as every minute passes.

dont crap your pants.. that would be disgusting! OK go crap your pants

Ryan Kerrigan should be number 3 on this list. there is no way that akeem ayers should be sitting as the 3rd best option. he should be 5th on the list or even 6th

If we get Ayers I will be extremely disappointed.

I’m sorry to have to be the one to say this but go look on YouTube at highlights of watt the only gut guy he beats is the RT which isn’t the strongest passcoverage tackle and to me his “highlights” don’t wow me all that much, Cameron Jordan has health issues already and we have seen where that got us. Ayers I don’t care much for 1 reason I hate ucla I know that’s not the best reason but I can’t seem to look past it. I know some chargers fans are down on kerrigan, here are some points I would like to make watch some tape on him he can beat tackles off the edge (jj watt can 2) kerrigan sheds blockers like a champ and makes plays has an amazing ability to strip the ball out of the qb’s hand and when he arrives at a Target he tends to arrives angry, what he does when he’s blocked is what impresses me he seems to find away to the ball and provide rush yes he isn’t what we need for a stand up OLB to drop into coverage, but his run stopping pass rush would be a nice addition. I vote for kerrigan say what you want but the signs are there. Aldon Smith is my second pick.

kerrigan i feel might be around but i seriously doubt either watt or jordon will. Any one of those 3 would make me very happy. i would NOT take ayers not enough pass rush for me. Kerrigan is a beast and can be another mathews
