CBS thoughts on the Chargers needs in the draft

“They have 5 picks in the top 89, they are gonna do a lot of damage in this draft. They are going to put a lot of good players on. I think they start out with pick 18 in the first round, defensive end, Adrian Clayborn comes to mind for me out of Iowa. He fell off a little bit in production as a senior, but very very disruptive player and would fit perfectly into what I call their hybrid 3-4 defense. Had 57 plays behind the line of scrimmage in college and almost 200 tackles. ” – Pat Kirwan, Senior Writer

Defense, Defense, Defense! Everyone is preaching it and the first pick should be a defensive end or an outside linebacker. Both players mentioned in the video, Adrian Clayborn (Iowa) and Akeem Ayers (UCLA), could make an immediate impact on our defense. Both players fly to the ball and are play makers.

I like what Kerwin has to say. I like Ayers UCLA. I also believe A.J. very well may trade-up. Sitting at Eighteen is like having to kiss your sister !.

Ayers would be an awesome pickup for us at 18 if he is still available! i would be all over it!
