Philip Rivers gathering team to prepare for season despite the lockout

There may be an NFL lockout going on, but the San Diego Chargers will be preparing as if the season is going to happen. Philip Rivers has organized the team workouts and they all plan to meet four days a week.

Shawn Kemp

It’s not exactly mini camp with all the coaches and everything, but it is still good to hear that the guys are prepping for the season instead of sitting at home and gaining weight. Last thing we need is for Antonio Gates or one of our players to blow up like Shawn Kemp did when the NBA was locked out.

So if you drive out to your local park and you see super sized men throwing around the football, then it might just be our Bolts preparing for the upcoming season.

Yeeeaah Rivers! That’s my boy. Keep them fit cause we got a feeling there will be a season too. Make sure the special teams are working the hardest because we can’t afford all the mistakes as last season.
