Just ran into Roger Goodell & asked him if the NFL finds it important to keep the Chargers in San Diego…says he’ll answer that Fri. – Marty Caswell

What BOMB could Commissioner Goodell drop on us tomorrow? Could this be a Black Friday for the San Diego Chargers? We already received news this Tuesday that the unbuilt Los Angeles Stadium will be called Farmers Field with a $700 million deal.

I don’t have a good feeling on this announcement, but I would think that there would be more buildup on announcing which team(s) would be playing in Los Angeles. So, what could it be?

Maybe, Commissioner Goodell was just in a hurry to do an interview with Inez Sainz and totally dismissed Marty’s question and just went with the automatic response of “I will answer that Friday”.

I guess we will have to check in on the press conference to see what he has to say.

Commissioner Goodell’s Super Bowl press conference is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 4 at 12:30 PM ET.

I’m nervous but at the same time it will be good to finally get something definitive on the issue. As a Charger fan who has had to deal with these rumors of relocation for the last few years I really would like to know for certain what is going to happen to this franchise. Those of us who spend our money and buy season tickets deserve to know if our investment will help keep the team here or if we are just lining the pockets of a billionaire who is going to abandon us at the first opportunity. I’m going to try and stay positive and hope for good news on Friday, but even if it is bad news at least we’ll finally know what the future of the NFL in San Diego holds.

You guys need the Chargers to stay over there the Raider Nation is dominant in Los Angeles. If your Chargers move over here they will be booed. The only positive aspect of the Chargers coming is that the Raiders will arrrive once a year for L.A. Raider fans to enjoy.Do something to keep the Chargers over there.

I agree 150% LA RAIDER. The chargers have a good solid fan base in san diego and they won’t be accepted with open arms. Why take them away from there city? Only the Raiders or the rams can have success in Los Angeles. Go Raiders!
