Philip Rivers on Cutler Injury

2008 AFC Championship Game

Me personally, I’d have to have been taken off in a cart. That doesn’t mean I’d be right. If they knew he couldn’t throw the ball good, he wasn’t helping anybody … I’ll never say what he should have done. I can’t even say what I would have done in the same position. I do know I’m not coming out unless I can’t do anything, and maybe that’s how it was (for Cutler). – Philip Rivers

I love my quarterback!

I know that in a big game, in a big situation, Philip Rivers will give his all and put it all out on the line. There will be no questioning his toughness! There were a lot of people comparing the Cutler and Rivers injuries, since Rivers played through his tore ACL in the Championship game while Cutler sat on the sideline.
