TE Coach “Chud” Granted Permission to Interview for Dolphins Job

The San Diego Chargers granted Rob Chudzinski permission to interview for the offensive coordinator job with the Miami Dolphins. Chud currently serves as the Tight Ends Coach and the Assistant Head Coach for the Chargers. He served as the offensive coordinator for the Miami Hurricanes for 2 seasons, including the 2001 National Championship team.

He helped mentor Kellen Winslow Jr., Jeremy Shockey and Bubba Franks, All-America choices who went on to become first-round NFL Draft picks and Pro Bowl players (Chargers.com).

Chud also may have an opportunity with the Carolina Panthers with newly hired Head Coach Ron Rivera. There is a lot of movement in the Chargers coaching staff lately. If Chud finds a position with another team, he would be the 3rd coach on the staff to either leave or get dismissed.
