Rain Floods Qualcomm Stadium

Pictures of the field posted on Twitter elicited comments like “Whoa” and “Unreal” and jokes like “Navy should feel right at home. You may even see some seals at work.”

Check out the pics of the stadium in the article above. The recent rainstorm has flooded Qualcomm Stadium and it looks like a lake out there. They are calling the field Lake Murphy right now.

The Chargers do not have any more regular season games left in the stadium this year, but the Poinsettia Bowl is supposed to be played there tomorrow. The Chargers could possibly have a home game in 3 weeks,  if they were to make it into the playoffs.
