You might as well call the blog this weekend: Ram Beat… or something like that. We will be representing a different shade of the blue and gold this weekend. This Sunday’s morning game will be the first place Rams versus the first place Kansas City Chiefs.

We know a little bit about this Rams team. They surprised us earlier in the season and handed us one of our 6 losses. QB Sam Bradford is a strong candidate for rookie of the year. He has lead this team to 6 victories on the season, just after the Rams finished last season with only 1 victory. RB Steven Jackson is a beast at the running back position and he will need to do the same thing that our boys Tolbert and Mathews did against the Chiefs. He has the ability to do the same thing.

This Rams defensive front made our boys look silly and kept hitting Philip Rivers in the backfield. They will have to do the same against the Chiefs. Chiefs QB Matt Cassel is a game time decision after that appendectomy. He was able to do a little bit in practice, but we will see what he can contribute if he is able to go. If he is able to start, the Rams will need to force him to make some poor decisions with the football and stop the Chief running attack.

The Rams are in a fight for a playoff spot as well and hold first place tie in their division. They will need to come out aggressive and continue the beat down that we started on the Chiefs.
